Dr Aneeta Hussain (GP Partner) is retiring

Message from Dr Kalum De Silva (GP Partner)

Dear Patients

After more than two decades of dedicated service to our community, Dr Aneeta Hussain will be retiring from The Red Practice from the end of March 2026

Dr Hussain joined The Red Practice as a GP Partner in August 2001, and throughout her time here she has provided exceptional care, compassion and commitment to generations of patients and families in Walton-on-Thames. Her calm professionalism, clinical expertise and genuine kindness have made a lasting impact on both patients and colleagues alike.

Over almost 25 years, Dr Hussain has played an instrumental role in shaping The Red Practice into the caring and high-quality service it is today. She has supported the growth of the practice and helped guide us through several government changes and the COVID Pandemic. She has overseen many developments in patient care, while building strong and lasting relationships with patients across the community.

On behalf of everyone at The Red Practice, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr Hussain for her immense contribution, dedication and leadership over the years. She will be greatly missed by colleagues and patients alike.

While we are sad to see her leave, we wish Dr Hussain a long, happy, healthy and well-deserved retirement, with more time to enjoy with her family and pursue the many interests she has set aside during her busy medical career.

I only hope I can do justice to carry your incredible work forward. I will miss you dearly working beside me and may feel a little lost without you as a guiding beacon and mentor. Thank you, Aneeta, for everything you have given to The Red Practice and to the community we serve.

Dr Kalum De Silva
GP Partner
On behalf of The Red Practice Team
